It is very good, but it requires a lot of time since there are so many items.

Only for the most basic of tax filers. The author suggests you see a professional if you meet one of many conditions, which anybody but an unemployed student is likely to meet.

I got the audiobook to listen while driving home from work, usually one hour drive every day. Within a week, I gained significant knowledge about taxes. I myself am a big bleach fan, and I especially enjoy the manga series! I was very excited when I pre-ordered this and when I received it in the mail I was even more ecstatic because it was beautiful. The artwork on the box really caught my eye. I myself collect anime and mangas so this was a must have! The books themselves were in really good condition and like I said before the designs were fabulous. :-) if you love bleach and want to continue reading the series you should definitely purchase!

This box set's art work is incredible. It is substantially larger than the first box set and is a vertical carrying case instead of horizontally. The shipping was fast and arrived the day it was released (today, July 7th). An interesting and fascinating book, full of information about a fascinating time.It's bit boring at the beginning unless you are interested in the character he talks about, then it starts with facts, name and fascinating stories of less known name of the dotcom time.I liked the style of writing and the book kept my attention till the last page.Recommended!Many thanks to Grove Atlantic and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine.

I'm really torn about how to review this book. On the one hand, it offers an incredibly valuable look back at the 90's dotcom boom times, an era that deserves much more attention than it receives. On the other hand, a lot of the most valuable analysis comes only after a quixotic first-person quest to locate and understand the unknowable -- the enigmatic founder of Psuedo, Josh Harris. To me, the book suffers from the same thing that Pseudo did: an excellent premise that ultimately gets sidetracked by an obsession with celebrity/fame. Ultimately whether Harris is telling the truth or not, or whether he is a genius, or whether he is an artist, is irrelevant in my mind. Harris isn't the point. Those of use who watched and engaged with Pseudo were part of something bigger than one person, until it suddenly disappeared forever. I finished the book having a lot more questions about the Pseudo community itself, and how the Internet has lost so much of what initially made it such an exciting, unpredictable place. I thank the author for prompting me to ask these questions myself, but I would have also loved to focus more on why Pseudo mattered rather than deciphering exactly what had transpired in those crazy, early Internet years.

Moondust is one of my favourite reads of all time, so when I heard there was a new book out by Andrew Smith I bought it - and it's just so nice to be in the company of this author again.Without giving too much of the game away, Smith takes us on a journey that starts in London, then swerves abruptly to Ethiopia, then on to New York, then off to Utah... anywhere that he can find JOSH.It's a wild ride as he tries to track down one of the strangest characters our modern world has created.Like I say, I don't want to give too much of the game away... but the person he's after is Josh Harris. An oddball, possibly autistic, geekus who ruled the party-scene of nineties New York, much as Warhol had a generation earlier. His early experiments in `living in public' (his term) prefigure Big Brother, Facebook and any other `social media' invasion you can think of.I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of this guy. But more than that, I couldn't believe that I had forgotten a time when this didn't exist. For the first time in years I stopped and thought about the first time I had used the internet and when that was. I suddenly realized how much the world has changed.`May you live in interesting times'.The gift of this book is to remind us that we do. Smith charts the history of the dotcom boom-bust-reboom and offers us a space to think about its implicationsI wouldn't say that at the end of the book I had answers to these questions. His early experiments in `living in public' (his term) prefigure Big Brother, Facebook and any other `social media' invasion you can think of.I couldn't believe I hadn't heard of this guy. But more than that, I couldn't believe that I had forgotten a time when this didn't exist. For the first time in years I stopped and thought about the first time I had used the internet and when that was. I suddenly realized how much the world has changed.`May you live in interesting times'...The gift of this book is to remind us that we do. It is a lighthearted book with very brief descriptions of attractions and restaurants in Branson. There is very little information for 150 page book, however. The font is super huge and with only one attraction per page (and just a few sentences of description on each topic), it seems as though the 150 pages could actually be less than 40 pages in a regular format.

What to do in Branson? “100 Things to Do in Branson Before You Die” by Karen Nelson gives enough suggestions to keep you busy, no matter how old (or young) you are before you start pushing up daisies.An alert to readers before you get into this review: Karen is my “favorite” niece living in Taney County, (though I have dozens of other favorites in other Missouri counties); the book is dedicated to me; and I had hired Karen to do some research for me when writing and edition of my “Insiders’ Guide to Branson and the Ozark Mountains” years ago. However, as a retired Professor of English, I can fail a relative for bad writing and research easier and quicker than a politician can turn himself into a lobbyist. I expect a relative to be a cut above the average writer.This paperback is small enough to fit in your backpack, your aunt’s fanny pack, or the console of the family van--and large enough to keep you busy for several two-week vacations. It includes virtually every must-see and must-do that I would have recommended and a dozen I’ll have to do before I die. I liked the tips to lengthen or shorten some of things and the suggested things for “Family Fun,” “Museum Junkies,” (she left out the Veterans Museum), “Seasonal Activities,” and “Free Stuff."What is especially good is an index—to try to find a shop to return to or the exact page to get an original kewpie or find good fudge. Each “thing” is briefly described in a half page or less and includes relevant phone numbers, the address for your GPS (necessary for those out-of-the-way “things”) and the website for menus, ticket prices, or show times--the “more information” one often needs.In short, I would give the book an A-. It is helpful, informative, and proves that books are still a “good thing” in the internet age.

Karen, my grandpa had a cabin in Notch, and Mom picked us up on last day of school and we spent the summer here. Dad would fly in on weekends and best of times were had. We owned the ground where the Dairy Queen is on Hwy 76. Of course back then it was quite the drive on 65 or 76. And "Branson Strip" ended downtown, and everyone knew everyone. I so loved reading your book. We moved here full-time in 1989, so we 'saw it all' as it was being built. But, your book made our little piece of Heaven brand new. We have dog earred so many pages of places we haven't seen!! Your book is coffee table worthy, and hasn't been on the bookshelf yet!!
